Alianza, the best partner
2013-01-18
Mexico’s National Youth Teams Coordinator praises Alianza’s achievements within its first decade.
Dennis TeKloese comes from one of the most prestigious talent scouting schools in history: Holland.
His credentials speak for themselves: First he worked in the Chivas and Tigres junior teams and now in the Mexican Soccer Federation, where he coordinates the youth squads –the most successful National Teams in the last two years: Two U-17 World Championships and a gold medal in the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
His search for talent does not necessarily focus in the Mexican market, but in the US market as well, where the streak of Hispanic blooded players is huge. And it has been right there where he met his best ally: Alianza de Futbol.
“It was back in the time when I worked for Chivas and Tigres that I started to work with Alianza, which has always received the support of Mexican teams and being of great benefit for them. I currently handle youth squads of the Mexican National Team and thanks to my experience with Chivas and Tigres I have been able to carry on with a partnership that has turned out to be very positive. We have trouble reaching so many communities, we are short of time and scouting for new players can be difficult, but thanks to Alianza we have spotted the existing talent among youngsters” said Dennis.
The help that Alianza brings in finding new soccer talents can be verified in last year’s final, as Dennis mentions “Alianza had scouts from more than 10 Liga MX teams, apart from those of the Mexican Federation, and the opportunity for most of the players to be seen by the top scouts and have their dream come true”.
TeKloese states that Alianza has stood up for its remarkable hospitality and well run events during their first decade promoting Hispanic soccer in the United States. “All that Clubs and Federation have to worry about is following up players’ progress and make them aware of the huge demand that it takes to play in a National Team, due to the latest results”.
“I wish Alianza many more decades of hard work for the sake of American players. I congratulate them for their great labor so far and for their impressive development in the past years. I am sure 2013 will bring incredible events and a huge number of talented players yet to be discovered”.
