More than 5,000 players will have the opportunity to be evaluated by top professional teams and college scouts

SAN FRANCISCO Allstate and Alianza de Futbol announced the 2019 Allstate Sueño Alianza, the largest Hispanic soccer tryout program in the United States. Allstate Sueño Alianza allows Hispanic soccer players in the newly introduced U-14 category, as well as the existing U-17 and U-20 age groups, the opportunity to be evaluated by coaches and scouts from the Mexican National Team, MLS, USL, Liga MX, LaLiga and the country’s top college programs.

Jonathan González, the Mexican-American soccer star of Rayados de Monterrey and the Mexican National Team, serves as the program’s official ambassador. Jonathan participated in the 2013 Allstate Sueño Alianza, and as a professional player won the 2017 LigaMX Rookie of the Year award, the Apertura 2017 CopaMX and the 2019 CONCACAF Champions League.

“Allstate Sueño Alianza is the way I was able to live my soccer dreams,” said Jonathan Gonzalez. “It is the program that every soccer player should take advantage of to showcase their talent.”

In its 12th year of making dreams come true on and off the pitch, Allstate Sueño Alianza will travel to Atlanta, Houston, Dallas, Denver, Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Phoenix and El Paso. At the end of the tour, the top 48 players will be selected to participate in the Allstate Sueño Alianza National Showcase at the Silver Lakes Soccer Complex in Los Angeles, CA, where more than 50 scouts will evaluate talent and extend professional tryout invitations for their teams.

“Allstate is proud to be the title sponsor of Allstate Sueño Alianza, a program that helps identify future game changers from the Hispanic community,” said Pam Hollander, Allstate’s vice president of consumer marketing. “Allstate Sueño Alianza helps protect the future of the game by empowering young soccer players and giving them an opportunity to succeed.”

New this year, the U-14 team from the Allstate Sueño Alianza National Showcase will also compete in the ICC Futures tournament at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL in December against the best U-14 clubs in the world. Participating in ICC Futures gives these players a unique chance to showcase their talent at an international level in one of the most prestigious youth tournaments in the world.

“We feel very proud to strengthen our partnership with Allstate in the most prestigious tryout program in the country”, said Joaquin Escoto, Managing Partner of BRC Group, owner of Alianza de Futbol. “Allstate Sueño Alianza has been helping Hispanic players for more than 12 years and, excited to launch our new U-14 tryout category giving more opportunities for the tremendous futbol talent in the US Hispanic community this year.”

Allstate Sueño Alianza is expected to register over 5,000 players from all over the United States that dream of becoming professional soccer players. Over the past 11 seasons of Allstate Sueño Alianza, more than 90 players have signed professional contracts with teams from the Liga MX or MLS and MLS Academies, and more than 25 have been called to play for the United States, Mexico, Honduras and El Salvador national youth teams.

This program represents Allstate and Alianza de Futbol’s commitment to the Hispanic community in the United States by empowering young and talented players and advancing opportunities for their dream of becoming professional soccer players.
