Allstate Sueño Alianza Unites 536 Emerging talents in New York

The 2023 journey of the Allstate Sueño Alianza scouting program has reached its final stage, marking one of the most remarkable seasons yet in terms of records and participation, particularly in the women's category. This positive trend was reaffirmed over the past weekend in New York City. In an exhilarating chapter, professional clubs selected eleven young footballers, offering them the opportunity to undergo direct trials at their facilities. Additionally, two more players were awarded the coveted blue scarf, granting them access to the National Showcase, the pinnacle event of Allstate Sueño Alianza, scheduled to take place in Phoenix at the end of the season. This showcase attracts dozens of professional scouts over a weekend to observe the finest talents of the season.

Under the watchful eyes of renowned scouts from clubs like Pachuca and Necaxa of the Mexican Liga MX, as well as Columbus Crew, New York City FC, NY Red Bulls, FC Cincinnati of the MLS, and the US Soccer Federation, a total of 536 footballers participated in the tryouts.

Set against the backdrop of Randall's Island Park, perfect weather became a magnet that drew hundreds of enthusiastic followers who stood witness to the exceptional amateur football rooted in the Hispanic community of the United States. The participants of Allstate Sueño Alianza exhibited unwavering determination, giving their utmost effort in every moment of the encounter.

Each of these players aspires to follow in the footsteps of successful Allstate Sueño Alianza alumni, such as Mauricio Isais, Nicolás Carrera, Santiago Muñoz, and Elliana Ramírez, who have gone on to become professionals in Mexico and Europe.

FC Cincinnati and NY Red Bulls stood out by extending the most direct invitations, with three each.FC Cincinnati selected Samuel Orjuela from Richmond Hill, NY, Luc Rodríguez from New York, NY, and Luis Cruz from Grenada Hills, CA. Meanwhile, Red Bulls extended invitations to Orjuela, Justin Nuñez from Bronx, NY, and Isayah López from Mamaroneck, NY.

Pachuca and Necaxa, both regular participants in Allstate Sueño Alianza events, each granted two invitations. The Tuzos again chose Luis Cruz and Luis Rodríguez from Brooklyn, NY, while the Rayos extended invitations to Rodríguez and Yair Román from Staten Island, NY.

Additionally, Payton Hernández from New Milford, CT, and Jokin Martínez from Queens, NY, were rewarded with the opportunity to showcase their skills in front of various scouts at the Phoenix National Showcase, the crown jewel of the Alianza circuit.

The event was graced by the presence of scouts such as José Viay from Pachuca, Fuad Cayotary from FC Cincinnati, Jorge Tello from Necaxa, Rafael Calderón from Columbus Crew, Noah Ross from New York City FC, Kelvin Koe from New York Red Bulls, and Paul Elis from US Soccer. These experts were on hand to discover and recruit young talents.

Allstate Sueño Alianza concluded another brilliant chapter in New York, fulfilling dreams and setting sights on Los Angeles, its next destination, promising another exciting stage of the Alianza Tour.
