Ford Copita Alianza crowned its new champions in Chicago

In the fourth leg of the 2023 Alianza de Futbol Tour, held in Chicago, the new champions of the Ford Copita Alianza were crowned in various categories. The competition was highly successful, with 84 teams and 1,368 competitors, including boys and girls in different age groups.

In the U7 category, which had 144 participants divided into eight teams, Dreamers Boca Junior defeated Moroleon 2-1. In the U9 category, with 252 participants distributed among 14 teams, Mayas FC won 1-1 (4-2 in penalties) against San Antonio Raiders.

On the other hand, in the U11 category, with 180 participants divided into 10 teams, Mayas defeated Pumas Detroit 3-2; in the U13 category, with 252 participants spread across 14 teams, Chicago Arsenal secured a 4-0 victory over Deportivo 59.

In the U15 category, which had 288 participants distributed in 16 teams, Brasileños won 2-1 against Indiana Elite FC; in the U16 G category, with 72 female participants in four teams, En Fuego FC triumphed 4-0 over On The Ball. In the U17 category, with 144 players in eight groups, Futboleros defeated América Técnica 2-0; and in the U19 category, which had 180 players in 10 teams, AT Eagles prevailed 4-3 against Eclipse Futboleros.

It is worth mentioning that the event was graced by the presence of Jared Borgetti, the second-highest historical goal scorer of the Mexican National Team, who shared moments with the participants of the Ford Copita Alianza.

The 2023 Tour of Ford Copita Alianza and Alianza de Futbol will continue its journey, heading to New York City, where the fifth stage will take place at Randall's Island Park, with even more excitement on the 5th and 6th of August.
