The Alianza Tour 2026 continued its momentum on July 11-12 with a historic weekend in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where more than 27,000 fans gathered at El Pomar Youth Sports Park to celebrate the game, discover new talent, and enjoy an unforgettable experience for the entire family.

The third stop of the Tour delivered record-breaking numbers for this host city. A total of 198 teams competed across Alianza's tournaments, while 378 players took part in the Allstate Sueño Alianza tryouts, making it the largest tryout turnout in Colorado Springs history.

Eight Players Earn National Showcase Invitations

One of the biggest highlights of the weekend came during the Allstate Sueño Alianza tryouts, where eight players earned invitations to the 2026 Allstate Sueño Alianza National Showcase, set to take place this October—the most invitations awarded at a single Tour stop so far this season

Throughout the weekend, hundreds of aspiring players showcased their talent in front of scouts from Club America, Chivas, Pachuca, FC Juarez, and the Chicago Fire, continuing Alianza's mission of connecting Hispanic talent with professional opportunities.

The eight players selected for the National Showcase are:

  • Lila Scherer
  • Aydin Salgado
  • Isaiah Romero
  • Juan José Rubiano
  • Enrique Gutiérrez
  • Giancarlo Dominguez
  • Riley Hanson
  • William Shimamoto

Competition Across Every Field

Competition remained fierce throughout Copita Alianza, where 140 youth teams competed across 10 age divisions, highlighting the continued growth of youth soccer within the Alianza Tour.

Colorado Springs also marked the local debut of the 5v5 format for both Copa Alianza and ViX Alianza Femenil. The fast-paced format quickly became one of the weekend's biggest attractions, delivering exciting matches and nonstop action for players and fans alike.

More Than Futbol

The excitement extended well beyond the fields. Families enjoyed a variety of experiences throughout the Sponsor Village, where Nike and Unisport officially debuted their new Alianza retail store, giving fans the opportunity to shop and personalize exclusive merchandise. Meanwhile, Chobani, Rate and King's Hawaiian kept the energy high with interactive activations, giveaways, and family-friendly experiences all weekend long.

With attendance surpassing 27,000, Colorado Springs once again demonstrated the continued growth of the Alianza Tour and its impact on Hispanic communities across the United States by bringing together competition, player development, and unforgettable experiences in one place.

Next Stop: Chicago
