Chiriaco became the local champion of Verizon Copa Alianza in Phoenix during the first date of Alianza de Futbol's 2022 tour and secured, together with the runner-up team, Delfines, a spot in this year's National finals, where both will fight for $50,000 worth of prizes.

On the fields of Bell Bank Park, Chiriaco faced Delfines in a hard-fought final, in which the former got a 2-0 W.

160 players participated in the tournament; all of them were distributed in the eight teams that sought the championship title.

Following its stop in Phoenix, Verizon Copa Alianza was confirmed as the most important and prestigious amateur soccer competition in the United States.

The next stop on the 2022 Alianza de Futbol and Verizon Copa Alianza tour will be held on June 18-19 in Dallas, TX.
