This weekend, the windy city hosted the most recent stage of the Alianza de Futbol 2022 tour.

Verizon Copa Alianza recorded a participation of 160 soccer players and 8 teams, all with the goal of lifting one of the most desired trophies of amateur soccer in the country.

Pavel Pardo, Mexican soccer legend, was one of the favorite guests this weekend. In addition to being a witness and joining the cheers in several of the matches, he was acclaimed by his fans, with whom he hung out on Saturday morning .

The competition lived exciting matches from the group stage; although the final took all the spotlight facing the only two undefeated teams in the contest, and if that were not enough, the winner of the last year title, Chi City, who despite their experience, in their last remaining seconds were defeated 2-1 against Athlético Nacional,, in a duel that was fiercely contested.

Both teams won their pass to the national finals, where they will have to face the first two places in each city of the Alianza de Futbol 2022 tour.
