Ford Copita Alianza in New York had a magnificent closing event, with the participation of 92 teams and more than 1,300 players, breaking its 2021 record by almost doubling the attendance. Incredible!

The ‘Big Apple’ was the epicenter of the sixth date of the Alianza de Futbol 2022 tour, where the largest children’s and youth tournament in the country, as expected, impacted everyone with one of the closest contests seen in the year with four finals decided on penalties and three of those by no more than two goals.

These are the New York champions in all Ford Copita Alianza categories:

- U7: Little Giants (1-0)

- U9: La Bestia Elite (5-4 penalties)

- U11: NY Select Lc (5-4 penalties)

- U13: NJ All Star (2-0)

.- U15: Moctezuma FC (2-1)

- U17: New Haver United (5-4 penalties)

- U19: Ecuabrothers (5-4 penalties)

The finalists received uniforms, medals and a ball and in turn, each champion took the trophy that distinguishes them as the best of Ford Copita Alianza.

In addition, the NJ All Star, Moctezuma FC and New Haven United teams from the U13, U15, and U17 categories, respectively, got their ticket to the Ford Copita Alianza National Finals, the unique tournament for the champions of each city of the 2022 tour.

Ford Copita Alianza and Alianza de Futbol will continue touring the United States, the next stop will be on August 20 and 21 in Los Angeles.
