On July 19–20, Alianza de Futbol brought the 2025 Tour to Mercyhealth Sportscore Two in Illinois, drawing an incredible crowd of 27,660 attendees — including players, coaches, families, and fans.
Despite heavy rain and temporary game suspensions, the passion for futbol never faded. What stood out most was the community’s energy, the players’ dedication, and the unwavering support from their families.
More than 160 teams competed across our signature tournaments — Copa Alianza, Copita Alianza, VIX Alianza Femenil, and Alianza 5v5 — turning the fields into a true celebration of the game.
On the scouting front, 600 players participated in the Allstate Sueño Alianza tryouts, showcasing their talent in front of scouts from Club América, Pachuca, Atlas, Chicago Fire, Nashville SC, and the U.S. Soccer Federation. Jiselle Caffrey, Alvin Hernández, and Davian Nuñez stood out and earned their spot at the upcoming National Finals.
Our sponsors elevated the on-site experience:
Chobani added a delicious touch to the weekend with yogurt and fun giveaways.
Rate, joining the tour for the first time, offered valuable homeownership guidance to our community.
Gatorade kept players hydrated and fueled from the first whistle to the last.
Adidas brought the full package — brand-new uniforms for all finalists and official match balls for the championship games.
On the competitive side of the adult tournaments, Futboleros FC were crowned Copa Alianza champions, taking home a $5,000 prize. In VIX Alianza Femenil, Morelia claimed the title and a $2,000 reward.
Chicago reminded us that no matter the weather, futbol and community always show up strong. Thank you to everyone who made it special
