San Jose in a big plan in the 2022 Tour

A lot of futbol and a great display of talent in San José, California, ahead of the last two dates of the Alianza 2022 tour. The eighth stage of the tour was a complete success, with more than 150 teams, 2,096 futbol players and 31,000 spectators attended the 'Morgan Hill Sports Center' complex to witness an incredible futbol display.

The weekend's activity began with the full potential of the women. TUDN Alianza Femenil excited the stands from minute one.

With 80 players distributed in four teams, the contest was fiercely fought; however, Salinas Soccer Femenil was the champion team of the competition after beating NNSL 3-0 and thus returning home with a check for $1,500 and the trophy that accredits them as the best in their city.

Similarly, Ford Copita Alianza looked great with the presence of the Mexican legend, Luis 'Matador' Hernández, who closely observed the participation of the 88 teams and more than 1,300 futbol players in seven categories. To applaud the great competitive level on the part of all the participants, after having given us four finals taken to the penalty shootout.

Here are the winners by category of the largest children's and youth tournament in the United States:

U7: NWUSA River Pumitas (5-4 on penalties)

U9: Reno Tahoe NNSL (2-1)

U11: FC23. Sports. Academy (3-1 on penalties)

U13: AC Milan (3-0)

U15: Sac City FC (4-2 on penalties) Women's

U16: MVLA Inter ECNL (5-4 on penalties)

U19: Tahuichi F.C. Boys 04/05 Red (3-0)

Verizon Copa Alianza received more than 400 Players and 21 teams divided into seven groups, which gave us 36 exciting duels from start to finish.

The final was taken by CTS FC, after beating HAYWARD-HONDURAS 4-3 in a close penalty shootout, a decisive goal that allowed the well-deserved champion to lift the cup and win a prize of $5,000 dollars. !! Congratulations!!

Finally and to close with the ups and downs of emotions, the tournament that does not allow the slightest distraction. Alianza 5v5, registered for this edition 40 teams and 208 soccer players who played each game with the enthusiasm and passion that characterizes the lightning tournament of the competition.

Here are the champions:

Pumas beat Atlanta United 3-2 and took the U10, Galletas FC was crowned in the U12 after defeating Tuzitos 3-2, for the U14 Morales 2008B he beat Morales 2008B 1-0 2, in the U16 Jaguares won 3-1 to LAZBOYS FC; and finally, CHIAPAS FC 2 achieved victory on penalties 3-1 against Legends during the U18.

The cherry of the weekend in San José was Allstate Sueño Alianza, the free scouting program for all young Hispanics who dream of reaching professional soccer.

More than 380 soccer players showed their best soccer before professional team scouts, who handed out four invitations (Brandon De León, Issac Enríquez, Edwin Moreno and Layla Chu) to compete in the national championship, where they will have the opportunity to show off their talent before more than 25 professional team viewers.

The ninth and penultimate stage will take place on September 10 to 11 Sunday in El Paso, Texas.
