As you may have noticed with our new identity, Alianza is entering a new era,  and we’re just getting started.

In the coming days, we’ll be revealing exciting updates, including the official 2026 Tour calendar and the eight cities we’ll be visiting this year.

But we couldn’t wait to share one big change

Our Adult Tournaments Are Now 5v5

Both Copa Alianza (Men’s Open) and ViX Alianza Femenil (Women’s Open) will now be played in a fast, high-energy 5v5 format — with prize money on the line.

Why the change?

Because smaller teams mean more action:

• More touches on the ball
• Faster pace
• Higher intensity
• More excitement in every match

It’s a format built for today’s game,  dynamic, competitive, and fun to play and watch.

The Tradition Continues Across Our Other Programs

While our adult tournaments evolve, the rest of the Alianza experience remains the same:

• Copita Alianza continues in traditional formats (11v11, 9v9, or 7v7 depending on age group), with divisions for boys and girls across multiple youth categories

• Alianza 5v5 Youth keeps delivering fast-paced competition for players U10–U18, with coed teams welcome

• Allstate Sueño Alianza returns as the premier scouting platform, opening doors for the next generation of young Hispanic talent.
