Two days of intense soccer activity that we will never forget.

The third stop of the 2024 Alianza de Futbol Tour, held in Colorado Springs, CO, on July 6-7, was a great success despite the weather challenges.

More than twenty thousand people gathered at the Pomar Youth Sports Park for a range of tournaments, tryouts programs, and fun activities at the Sponsor Village, which came to life with music, raffles, merchandise for sale, and other activities organized by the sponsors. Despite the heavy rain on Sunday, the participants' spirits remained high.

Colorado Springs saw a high demand for teams in the Verizon Copa Alianza, Ford Copita Alianza, and Alianza 5v5 competitions, as well as 335 young players aspiring to be professionals in the Allstate Sueño Alianza scouting program.

Scouts from San Diego FC (an expansion team debuting in MLS in 2025), Club América, and U.S. Soccer evaluated the young talent. Six rising stars received at least one invitation to continue a process with these teams or join the Allstate National Showcase in October. The invitations went to:

  • Melanie Robles: ACCESS U and Club América

  • Giancarlo Domínguez: Club América and National Showcase

  • Aiden Jiménez: Club América

  • Francisco Sánchez: Club América

  • Laila Carter: National Showcase

  • Angel Castillo: National Showcase

La Raza, which finished second in Group B with six points in the group stage, was crowned champion of this tournament, featuring 320 participants divided into sixteen teams. La Raza defeated Linces 4-2 in penalties after a 3-3 draw in regular time. This match stood out for its high level of play, making it enjoyable for all the fans present.
