Yaneisi Rodríguez is ready to take on the Clausura 2025 season with Cruz Azul in Liga MX Femenil.

The 22-year-old versatile defender attended the Allstate Sueño tryouts in San Jose back in 2021., where she captured the attention of scouts. Her soccer career kicked off at Columbia River High School, where she was a two-time state champion, before moving on to play at the University of Washington.

In 2022, Yaneisi made her professional debut with Necaxa in the Clausura tournament, becoming the first female Allstate Sueño Alianza alumni to turn pro. She continued her development at UNAM, playing with Pumas until the Apertura 2024, and now, she’s set to join Cruz Azul for the 2025 season.

The Mexican-American is known for her ability to perform in multiple positions: center-back, full-back, and even in midfield. Her skill set and adaptability have earned her recognition, including a spot on the Mexican national U-20 team in 2021.

Yaneisi has a promising future ahead and we couldn't be more proud of her.

Good Luck with La Máquina!
