The Country’s Best Undiscovered Soccer Talent To Showcase Their Skills For Pro Scouts In Once-In-A-Lifetime Opportunity
The best 50 players from the 2019 Alianza de Futbol Tour will assemble in Los Angeles beginning next week for a shot at realizing their soccer dreams at the Allstate Sueño Alianza National Showcase.
The Allstate Sueño Alianza National Showcase has served as the launching pad for the careers of more than 70 professional players. This year’s 50 finalists from the U14, U17 and U20 categories were selected from over 5,000 players around the country to compete in front of 30 professional scouts representing Liga MX, Major League Soccer, United Soccer League, La Liga and the Mexico National Football Team.
“Alianza de Futbol changed my life and opened professional soccer doors for me,” said Jonathan González, 2013 alumnus and starter for Rayados de Monterrey, Mexican National Team senior squad and 2017 LigaMX’s Rookie of the Year. “Thanks to Allstate Sueño Alianza, I started my path in Liga MX, and it catapulted my career. It takes hard work and dedication, but I’m living my dream and this is the best life decision.”
This year’s program, which runs from Sept. 26 to Sept. 30, will feature two exclusive opportunities for the 50 finalists.
- The U-14 team will compete against the best young players in the world at the prestigious International Champions Cup Futures tournament in December at the IMG Academy.
- La Liga will invite the best 18 players from the Allstate Sueño Alianza National Showcase to play in Spain against academies from a top competitive league in the world.
“We are very excited to kick off the 2019 edition of the Allstate Sueño Alianza National Showcase,” said Joaquín Escoto, Managing Partner of BRC Group, owner of Alianza de Futbol. “This is a unique opportunity for the best undiscovered Hispanic soccer talent in the country. Throughout this program, we’re witnesses to incredible talent looking for their opportunity to be discovered. This year, we are highlighting new, unique opportunities for the players, like the participation of the U14 team in the ICC Futures, and the invitation from La Liga to the best 18 players.”
