The much-anticipated 2024 Alianza de Futbol Tour is on the horizon, and we're thrilled to kick off the excitement with a major announcement: San Antonio will be joining this year's calendar on June 22-23, stepping in as a host city, replacing Houston.

Marking a triumphant return of Alianza to San Antonio after a 16-year hiatus, this decision coincides with the special 20th-anniversary celebration happening across all eight host cities throughout the year.

The selection of San Antonio is deliberate and meaningful. As the third-largest metropolis in Texas, it boasts a vibrant Hispanic community, constituting 65.7% of its total population. This strong cultural connection sets the perfect stage for soccer, a sport that has seen remarkable growth in popularity, particularly among the city's Latino residents. The fervent support for teams like San Antonio FC from the USL, Houston Dynamo, Houston Dash, and Liga MX giants like América, Pumas, and Chivas underscores the region's undeniable passion for the beautiful game.

One of the best soccer facilities in Texas, the South Texas Area Regional Soccer Complex (S.T.A.R), will serve as the venue for the Allstate Sueño Alianza Tryouts and a lineup of tournaments, including the Ford Copita Alianza, Verizon Copa Alianza, Alianza 5v5, Alianza Femenil, and Alianza Coaching Clinics. These competitions offer enticing prizes and serve as invaluable platforms for emerging soccer talents, both male and female, to catch the eye of clubs and federations.

Scouts from Liga MX, MLS, USL, FMF, U.S Soccer Federation, and U.S. colleges will converge with a shared objective: to unearth the next generation of Hispanic soccer stars during the Allstate Sueño Alianza tryouts.

Alianza de Futbol has a proven history of propelling young talents to professionalism, paving the way for talents like Jonathan Gonzalez, Santiago Muñoz, Nico Carrera, Mauricio Isais, and Elliana Ramirez, among others, to ascend to the professional levels and represent their nations on the grand stage.
