In a cardiac final, the amateur soccer champion in Austin raised the cup after bringing the emotions to the top; a tie in regular time and penalties to define the first place.

Austin City was proclaimed champion of the Verizon Copa Alianza in Austin, TX for the closing of the 2022 tour, and together with the Millonarios team, they secured a place in this year's national final, where they will look to win a check for $50,000 dollars.

The contest had the participation of 200 players, distributed in the 10 teams that sought the title; only one was able to return home with it. Despite not qualifying for the last instance, Jalisco FC graced the event by having the participation of two world champions, Julio Gómez and Giovani Casillas, both winners of the U-17 World Cup in 2011.

As expected, the final was extremely close, Austin City defeated Millonarios 4-3 on penalties, to become the last champion of the 2022 Alianza de Futbol season.
