Nina Nicosia, who took part in the Allstate Sueño Alianza program in 2022, made history as the first female participant from the program to become a Liga MX Femenil champion. Born in La Grange, Illinois, and of Argentine descent, her journey reflects the power of opportunity, identity, and determination.

After standing out at the Sueño tryouts, the talented midfielder signed with Pachuca Femenil in July 2023 and quickly became a key player for Las Tuzas. During the Clausura 2025 season, she started 15 of 16 regular-season matches and scored 6 goals.

In the final against Club América, Nina found the net in Pachuca’s 3–0 first-leg win—a crucial goal that helped secure the title despite a 2–0 loss in the return leg.

Now representing Argentina at the international level, the 22-year-old continues to chase her dreams and shine on some of the biggest stages in women’s soccer.

Alianza remains deeply committed to supporting the growth of Hispanic women’s soccer in the United States—because stories like Nina’s deserve to be just the beginning.
