Allstate Sueño Alianza granted an invitation to New York for the National Showcase.
Payton Rosado shone during her participation in the tryouts in the Big Apple and was selected by scouts searching for the city's best talents.
Renowned teams such as San Diego FC, NY Red Bulls, Philadelphia Union, FC Cincinnati, Club Pachuca, the El Salvador National Team, US Soccer, and US Women’s Soccer sent their scouts to Randall Island Park, where 501 players were registered. These young athletes played matches in four teams: 90 with the white team, 174 with the blue team, 205 with the black team, and 32 with the pink team.
From the moment they arrived at the complex, each aspirant worked hard to impress the scouts, showcasing all their skills and attributes in hopes of leaping from amateur to professional level.
Payton, who is 14 years old, is the eleventh player to qualify for the national event, which will be held in November at a venue to be announced soon. Scouts from the most influential teams and federations will be present, looking to recruit the best talent, as has happened in the past with young players like Nico Carrera, Jonathan González, Santiago Muñoz, Mauricio Isaias, and Elliana Ramírez, among others.
There are still 53 spots available for the National Showcase.
Rosado joins Abbie Ramírez and Robino Lozano from San Antonio, Addisen Ramírez and Nathan Ochoa from Dallas, Adrián Rentería, Angel Rosas, and Braelynn Galt from Chicago, as well as Angel Castillo, Giancarlo Domínguez, and Laila Carter from Colorado Springs, who have already qualified for the National Showcase.
