The second stage of the 2024 Alianza de Futbol Tour took place in San Antonio, attracting hundreds of children and young people to the Star Soccer Complex for two days of intense soccer activity, marking the twentieth anniversary of Alianza.

In its 2024 debut with Alianza, San Antonio saw a high demand for teams in the Verizon Copa Alianza, Ford Copita Alianza, ViX Alianza Femenil, and Alianza 5v5 competitions. Additionally, a notable number of participants registered for Allstate Sueño Alianza.

This event not only involved San Antonio but also other Texas cities such as El Paso, Del Rio, Houston, Austin, Round Rock, Dallas, Tyler, McAllen, Ciudad Acuña, Mission, Brownsville, and the Rio Grande Valley area.

The circuit will conclude in October with the National Showcase, whose venue is yet to be determined. It will include the traditional scarf ceremony with the participation of renowned scouts from Liga MX, MLS, and the Mexican and United States Federations.

The Star Soccer Complex hosted over 25,000 fans who enjoyed not only the matches but also the food offerings from various vendors, music, gifts, prizes, and broadcasts of the Copa América and Eurocup by ViX in Alianza Village.

In San Antonio, Allstate Sueño Alianza featured scouts from FC Juárez, Atlético San Luis, Austin FC, San Antonio, and US Soccer, who evaluated the talent of 452 young players. The attending scouts were:

  • Brian Cronin (Austin FC)

  • Bryan Young (US Soccer)

  • Víctor Rangel (Atlético San Luis)
