Ford Copita Alianza crowns its second champions of the year

The second leg of the 2023 Alianza de Futbol Tour ended, crowning the champions of the Ford Copita Alianza in their respective categories in Dallas. The event was a celebration and sold out days in advance.

Throughout the weekend, 118 teams participated in the male and female categories of the competition, which involved children and young players, totaling 1,872 participants vying for the title in the Texas city.

PST 16 Black emerged as champions in the U7 category after defeating East Texas United 0(3)-(1)0. West Texas Select secured the U9 title with a 3-1 victory over the West Mambas. PSG claimed the U11 championship with a hard-fought 4-2 win against DKSG Yañez. ATX FC triumphed in the U13 division, delivering a 4-0 thrashing to ETFC Ruíz. Star Players emerged victorious in the U15 category, defeating Rebaño 2-1. SOKC Filial León came out on top with a 3-1 victory over Cuervos RGV in the U17 division, while FC Inter Clubes defeated Matambu Cefar 0(3)-(2)0.

In the female competition, ETFC United has crowned champions in the U16 category after defeating Real Madrid (Roca) 1-0 in a category that featured eight teams and 144 participants.

As part of their ongoing efforts to promote the most prestigious tournament for the Hispanic community in the United States, Ford had the presence of Omar Bravo, the all-time leading scorer of Mexico's Chivas de Guadalajara.

The 2023 Ford Copita Alianza and Alianza de Futbol Tour will continue in the United States on July 8th and 9th at Bear Creek Pioneers Park in Houston, Texas.
